HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM
THE WILLIAM MEANS FAMILY!
I am really thankful for three different things year. First and foremost is my faith. Secondly, for the health and happiness of my family and my new granddaughter, Mae. And I am also thankful to be surrounded by such an incredible group of professionals at William Means. – Helen Geer
Thanksgiving has always held very fond memories for me. Growing up, my mom always cooked. We have a large family, I am the youngest of seven kids. My grandparents would always come for Thanksgiving. My PoPop was a huge eater, and we would always joke that he needed a whole turkey just for himself. This Thanksgiving my family and I will be starting a new tradition. My son Nick and Carson, who recently got married, will be hosting their first Thanksgiving in their new home. I will love being with my own crew around the table, making new memories and sharing with each other what we are most thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving! – Leslie Anderson
As a newlywed, I am truly grateful that many generations of ‘both families’ are joyfully coming together, full of happiness and love for all! – Ann Bacot Daughtridge
There is just so much to be thankful for….For starters, I am forever thankful for living in such a wonderful, historic, warm climate, coastal city! I am thankful for my good health, which allows me to do all the things I love. I am especially thankful to be surrounded by friends and family, who bring love and joy into my life. I am thankful for Molly, our Labradoodle puppy, who spreads happiness to everyone she sees. Lastly, I am thankful God is patient with me. – Jane Dowd
I am thankful for an amazing year that was full of adventures. A wonderful husband, family and friends that are always coming back for more craziness. And, most importantly for two of the most amazing little boys in the world. When I walk in a room and see how they light up, it makes me happy to know that I’m doing something good. – Krystine Edwards
This past Fourth of July, Katie and I welcomed our beautiful first-born into the world, Ms. Mary Lyles Geer, who we call “Mae,” and there is nothing we have ever been more thankful for! – Lyles Geer
This year, I am especially grateful for the gracious and loving community we have in Charleston. Though we have grown tremendously as a city, we have not lost our heart for each other, and that is a very special thing. – Olivia Hipp
I am very thankful for my and my children’s health and happiness. In a world filled with uncertainty and strife I’m happy to simply be grateful for things like health and well-being. – Angela Hawkins
I am so blessed with daughters, son-in-laws, grandchildren, Nolte and Merris, and grand-dogs, Twister and Hawk. As I reflect on past Thanksgivings when my mother was with us, she always marked this time and day as grateful for family, friends and games we share together. Teams, t-shirts, scavenger hunts, egg toss, tug of war, bat spin, and trivia. It was 27 of us in serious competition. Last year I renewed the tradition! Thank you to all of my colleagues at William Means for the times we share at work and play. – Jane Milner
We are thankful for family, friends and health and also thankful the election is over. – Cindy & Randy Shelton
I am thankful for friends, family and the clear to close! – Kalyn Smythe
