William Means Guide To The Charleston Farmers Market

The Charleston Farmers Market is located in Marion Square in the heart of the Historic District and is open for the year starting this Saturday, April 9th through November 26th, 8 AM to 2 PM!

Founded by Mayor Joe Riley in 1989, the Charleston Farmers Market is dedicated to the support and advocacy of Lowcountry farmers, growers, prepared/packaged food, artisans, crafters, live performers and community groups of all kinds.

What can you expect to enjoy at the Farmers Market?

Featured Artists –  Enjoy perusing the aisles of handcrafted jewelry, original photography and paintings, and one-of-a-kind furniture

Farmers & Growers – Get your grocery shopping done for the week or pick out the perfect plant for your garden

Food Concessions – From delicious crepes to hand pressed juice, there is something for everyone if you’re looking to grab a quick bite to eat

Family Friendly – Take a leap in the bouncy house, ride on a pony or listen to the live music at this family friendly weekend event
