Welcome Bradley Thompson

◂ Back to Posts

Bradley Thompson has been a proud Charleston resident for more than 20 years. In 2004, he graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in business management. From there, he moved to the Lowcountry where he began his career in real estate. After five years as an agent, he founded the brokerage Colony & Craft Real Estate Co. where he represented the sale of more than 200 Charleston homes.

Bradley’s knowledge and love of Charleston and its surrounding areas are evident from the moment you meet. He is well versed in historic homes having consulted on countless renovation projects where he built strong relationships with the area’s leading contractors and craftsmen. He has also endeared himself into the area’s most charming neighborhoods through numerous outreach projects and sponsorships including the renovation and tree planting at the Wagener Terrace dog park.

Over the last 15 years of hard work and dedication to real estate, he has earned a reputation rooted in his core principles of honesty, reliability and loyalty. Since the very start, Bradley’s mission has been to provide the highest quality experience when buying or selling your Charleston home.

When he’s not selling some of Charleston’s most charming homes, Bradley enjoys gardening, swimming laps at MUSC and spending time with his wife, Katherine, and their little girl, Hattie Bea.

GET TO KNOW BRADLEY

WHAT DO YOU THINK SETS YOU APART AS AN AGENT?

I can say with full confidence and pride, yet no ego, that my reputation is what sets me apart.  I’ve spent the last 20 years successfully advocating for my clients’ best interests and always do the right thing. Ultimately, my goal is to give my clients every competitive edge I possibly can and make them happy at the end of the day.  It’s taken a long time and a lot of hard work but my reputation in the Charleston real estate market has served as a huge bedrock for my success.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE FEATURES OF HOMES AND WHY?

I have always been a big believer and champion of the back den.  I believe it is one of those special rooms that sets a proper home apart from others.  The back den is often where a family comes together and relaxes in mutual comfort and ease.  It’s an informal shared space for the family to enjoy, free of decorum or propriety.  The back den is often overlooked, but I believe it’s easily one of the most important rooms in a home.

DESCRIBE A FAVORITE SATURDAY AFTERNOON IN CHARLESTON.

My wife Katherine and I chase our 2-year-old daughter Hattie Bea around Sunrise Park and search for sharks’ teeth.  On our way home, we enjoy Huriyali smoothies and feed the ducks in Hampton Park.  Upon our return home, I get to working in the yard all while I keep an eye on Katherine and Hattie Bea sleeping in our backyard hammock.
