Take it to the Street Party at the Gibbes

The Gibbes will take art to the streets of Charleston this Thursday with a party celebrating the preview opening of Modern Masters from the Ferguson Collection*.  Come celebrate the opening of this new collection with us at the Gibbes this Thursday from 7:30 – 10:30, tickets are available at gibbesmuseum.org.  Guests will enjoy live entertainment, an open bar, and heavy hors d’oeuvres crafted by Charleston’s most celebrated chefs.

*The Modern Masters from the Ferguson Collection was selected from the private collection of Ester and James Ferguson, this exhibition includes paintings, sculpture, and works on paper by significant twentieth-century artists such as Pablo Picasso, Auguste Rodin, Willem de Kooning, and Robert Rauschenberg.  This exhibition is sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, William Means Real Estate, US Trust, and Charleston Magazine.
