Tis the season to be jolly which is why we are sharing our top five favorite Lowcountry holiday events! We hope you enjoy merry times with your friends and family this holiday season!

26th Annual Festival of Lights – Featuring over 750 displays and two million lights, the Holiday Festival of Lights is a cherished holiday tradition for many families throughout Charleston and beyond. From November 14 – January 1, James Island County Park comes alive with illumination!

Christmas on King Street – Shopping, parties, events, gifts, music. Holiday memories abound on King Street in downtown Charleston. Visit stores and restaurants in the City Market and Charleston Place Shops.

Christmas Village and Craft Fair at Magnolia – A Holiday Craft Fair, Children’s Village and a Christmas Train will make the season bright at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens starting the weekend after Thanksgiving.

The Sound of Charleston Holiday Special Edition – Experience Charleston’s rich musical heritage, from gospel to Gershwin, in live concerts which include songs of the Holiday Season as well as hot wassail and cookies with the cast after each performance.

Holiday Decoration Celebration at the Joseph Manigault House – This December The Garden Club of Charleston will, once again, bring holiday spirit into the Joseph Manigault House, adorning its rooms, hallways and stairways with greenery, feathers, ribbons and more.
