The Great American Songbook | January 20th. Music written during what we now call the Great American Songbook originally began around one hundred years ago and continued to be at the forefront of popular culture through the 1950s. Pirates & Mermaids! | January 22nd. Head over to one of Charleston’s most loved plantations for a family-friendly event with plenty of children’s activities. Charleston Boat Show | January 28-30 2022. The annual Charleston Boat show is now in its 42nd year and has evolved into an event that kicks off the Lowcountry’s boating season. Each January, this event includes everything from powerboats to small ion boats, yachts, pontoon boats and more.
