NORTH CHARLESTON ARTS FEST | MAY 2 – 6

This Lowcountry festival includes five eventful days highlighting more than 100 national, regional and local artists and performers in the areas of dance, music, theatre, visual arts, crafts, photography, media arts and literature. Learn more about exhibits and locations here.

7TH ANNUAL CHARLESTON BEER GARDEN | MAY 19

At Patriot’s Point in Mount Pleasant, festival-goers will enjoy craft beer, vendors, food trucks and live music at this event featuring over two dozen breweries from North and South Carolina. Get tickets here.

THE ATLANTIC CUP | MAY 22 – 26

This renowned race, the longest offshore race in the western Atlantic, starts in Charleston and ends in New York City. Head over to the Charleston City Marina for an up-close look at the boats before the big race. Don’t miss the special Kids Program on May 24th.

SPOLETO FESTIVAL USA | MAY 25 – JUNE 10

This incredible 17-day festival showcases both established and emerging artists in more than 150 performances in opera, dance, theater, classical music, and jazz. You can find the event schedule here.

PICCOLO SPOLETO | MAY 25 – JUNE 10

Focused on Southeastern artists, Piccolo Spoleto transforms Charleston with visual arts exhibits, classical music, jazz, dance, theatre, poetry readings, children’s activities, choral music, ethnic cultural presentations, crafts and film. Learn more here.
