Choosing a Mount Pleasant Neighborhood

Mount Pleasant is a wonderful community just minutes from beautiful beaches and convenient to downtown Charleston with access to the Cooper River Bridge and I-526. Some of the best private and public schools in South Carolina are located in this area. Outdoor recreation is available all year long and enthusiasts will love exploring the town’s many parks. There are plenty of local dining options and no shortage of great shopping.

Choosing a neighborhood can be a difficult decision whether you are buying or renting. The age old adage “Location, Location, Location” still rings true in many real estate transaction. Amenities within Belle Hall include two miles of walking trails, a crabbing dock, ponds, community centers and swimming pools. Other developments include Brickyard Plantation, Grassy Creek, Hobcaw Creek Plantation and Longpoint.

The beach is always a popular location during the summer months and Charlestonians have the added bonus of enjoying this luxury year-round. Seaside Farms and Snee Farms are perfectly situated for a quick drive to the Isle of Palms, a beautiful barrier island community home to the Wild Dunes Resort.

North of Highway 41,  new homes and neighborhoods are continuing to be developed every day like Carolina Park. Park West is more like its own village with schools, shopping and businesses providing a live/work/play lifestyle. If golfing is a top priority Rivertowne, Dunes West and Charleston National offer wonderful courses to channel your inner Arnold Palmer.
