WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE FEATURES OF HOMES AND WHY?
Charleston is so rich in history and culture; I appreciate seeing that distributed throughout the city’s homes. One of my favorite types of downtown homes is the Charleston Single as it incorporates the history of the 18th & 19th century which is what I love so much about the city. The colors of many homes are in Haint Blue and Charleston Green, incorporating traditions of the Gullah culture and local folklore.
DESCRIBE A FAVORITE SATURDAY AFTERNOON IN CHARLESTON.
Trick question, right? Real estate agents work most Saturdays! A special Saturday for me would be having brunch with my family downtown at one of the many hotel rooftops or southern style restaurants, then heading back to Isle of Palms to play a round of golf or tennis. I would end the day with a walk on the beach with my family and our dog or watching the sunset over the marsh.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT CHARLESTON?
Having lived in LA, Chicago, Atlanta and outside of New York City, I have an appreciation for Charleston having a small town feel with big city allure. There is so much to do from beach and water activities, boundless museums, parks and plantations, carriage rides on cobblestone streets with history tours, and award-winning restaurants and shopping. And no matter what you engage in, you’ll be met with that southern hospitality and charm.
