Welcome Andi McAfee

◂ Back to Posts

Andi McAfee relocated from Atlanta to Charleston after falling in love with the city during her studies at the College of Charleston. She began her real estate career working with William Means, the city’s only Christie’s International Real Estate affiliate. One of Andi’s favorite aspects of her work is building relationships with clients and meeting new people every day. Her experience in real estate has fostered a keen appreciation for helping people find a place to call home.

Andi is a truly global citizen and before completing her degree at the College, she studied in Spain, then later worked in Medellín, Colombia with a coffee company. She is fluent in Spanish and has also travelled extensively throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, and The Americas. With her in-depth understanding of different cultures and customs, Andi brings a unique perspective to each real estate transaction and enjoys building connections with people from all over the world.

Andi currently resides in Downtown Charleston where she has spent the last five years. In her spare time, she enjoys walking around Historic Downtown, exploring new restaurants, and dancing flamenco. She feels truly blessed to work with such a great company and team at William Means.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN CHARLESTON?

For any Charlestonian, this is one of the hardest questions to answer. My new favorite restaurant is Chubby Fish, which is located a bit off the beaten path. It has a menu that changes daily and the exotic flavors are out of this world. All the food is locally sourced and you cannot go wrong with the Chili Garlic Shrimp.

DESCRIBE A FAVORITE SATURDAY AFTERNOON IN CHARLESTON.

My favorite Saturday afternoon would include walking down King Street to first find some coffee, grab brunch with good company, and either go boating with friends or out to Sullivan’s Island for the day.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT CHARLESTON?

Everything! My favorite part about Charleston is that it appeals to almost everyone. Whether you are moving here for the historic city, the beach, the marsh, the Lowcountry, the culture… Charleston has it all. Cobblestone streets, majestic iron gates, beautiful window boxes, secret gardens, pastel colored homes, gorgeous churches — our city is truly a time capsule. Charleston has been voted The No. 1 City for many consecutive years. It is a unique gem with so much character and culture that remains close to my heart.
