Lowcountry Living – Charleston November Events

The holiday season is upon us in the Lowcountry and we can’t wait to celebrate with these wonderful November events throughout Charleston.

Nov. 2 – Bordeaux Wine Social – Join Mercantile and Mash for us a Bordeaux Wine Social! Vonda Freeman of The Indigo Road will be leading a tasting of white, red and dessert wines.

Nov. 5 – 5th Annual Lowcountry Hoedown –It’s time to dig out your plaid shirts and cowboy boots and prepare for a boot stompin’ good time! The 5th Annual Lowcountry Hoedown will take place at the Visitor Center Bus Shed in downtown Charleston from 7-11pm.

Nov. 5-6 – 7th Annual Charleston Mac Off – No other food combines love, comfort, and Southern roots like Mac and Cheese. The Charleston Mac Off has expanded to two full days to enjoy this cheesy event at Patriot’s Point in Mt. Pleasant!

Nov. 10 – Wild Game Dinner at Circa 1886 – From the field to the grill, the arrival of fall means enjoying some of our favorite game meats. For this four course Wild Game Dinner, Chef Marc Collins will showcase some of his winning wild game recipes.

Nov. 11 – Festival of Lights VIP Experience – Experience the Festival of Lights like a VIP during opening night on James Island with admission, dinner, a silent auction, train rides, climbing walls, marshmallow roasting, and more!

Nov. 11-12 – YALLFest – The Annual Charleston Young Adult Book Festival will feature more than 60 young adult authors for two days of panels and seminars and will be held in downtown Charleston.

Nov. 24 – Turkey Day Run & Gobble Wobble – Mark your calendars for the 39th Annual Turkey Day Run & Gobble Wobble to be held on Thanksgiving Day morning, presented by Earth Fare. The perfect way to start a day of feasting with friends and family.
