Easter Egg Hunts in Charleston

Easter weekend is just around the corner. Pack up the kids and your favorite Easter baskets and head to some of our favorite areas around Charleston to participate in Easter festivities. We’ve rounded up a few places to enjoy an Easter egg hunt and make everlasting Easter memories.

James Island Eggstravagant Spring Play Date. Head over to Sunrise Park tonight, Wednesday April 13th from 4-5pm to hunt for Easter eggs, participate in the egg race and in other Easter sensory activities. This event is held for 2-6 year olds and includes an admission cost. Find out more information, here.

Easter Extravaganza at Middleton Place. Grab an Easter basket and hunt for eggs in the gardens at Middleton Place in West Ashley on Saturday, April 16th at 10am. Hard-boiled eggs will be hidden for the kids to find and then dye at the Stableyards. Also, be on the lookout for ceramic prize eggs, handmade by the Middleton Place Resident Potter that will be scattered throughout the hunt. Enjoy activities such as colonial games, an egg toss, egg races, story time and crafts. The Easter Bunny will also be on site. Egg Hunt 2022 in I’On. The hunt is on! The I’On community is inviting the littlest I’On residents to bring their Easter baskets to collect Easter eggs and meet the Easter Bunny on Saturday April 16th from 9:30-10:30am. There will be two egg hunts, one for age groups 1-3 years and one for 4-8 years. Adult and student volunteers are needed for this and other neighborhood events. Read more, here.

Easter Egg Hunt at Old Santee Canal Park. The Easter bunny will be visiting the Old Santee Canal Park and brightly colored presents will be scattered throughout. Take your kids out for an exciting Easter egg hunt while exploring the park at the same time on Saturday, April 16th at 10am. Read more.

Easter Egg Hunt & Bunny Brunch. Join Five Loaves Cafe in Summerville on Sunday, April 17th from 10am-3 pm. Egg hunts will be held at 11am and 12pm for kids six and under and the Easter bunny will be available for photos. Brunch will be available from 10am-3pm. RSVP.

Easter in Hampton Park. Bring a blanket or a chair on the lawn in front of the gazebo in Hampton Park for an Easter egg hunt on Sunday, April 17th from from 10am-11:30am. Stay after for a Sunday service, food trucks and free mimosas for the adults. Registration is free. Find out more, here.
