Charleston’s most loved tourist attraction will be getting a makeover after the 2009 holiday season. The main building was built in 1841 and now spans from Meeting Street to East Bay Street. New entrances and additional restrooms will be added to bring this historic landmark up to date. New paint, lighting, signage, and fans will also help enhance this national landmark.
