Courtney Vorachek

Courtney Vorachek has called Charleston home for more than ten years, though she previously lived in Chicago, Illinois before settling in the Lowcountry. In Chicago, she worked in consumer marketing at the globally recognized public relations firm, Edelman, where she managed high-profile clients like Unilever. This background in strategic communication and branding has given Courtney a distinct edge in real estate - especially when it comes to marketing homes and negotiating on behalf of her clients.

Courtney's passion for real estate was sparked when she moved to Charleston and fell in love with the city's unique blend of coastal living and historic charm. Whether she's guiding clients to the perfect beachside retreat or the ideal historic home on the peninsula, her local expertise and knowledge of the area's diverse communities help clients find the place that truly fits their lifestyle.

In addition to her career in real estate, Courtney has been the proud owner of The Barre Code, a fitness studio in Mount Pleasant, for more than eight years. She is also an active member of the Junior League of Charleston, where she's served for more than ten years in numerous leadership and service roles, contributing to countless community projects.

Outside of work, Courtney loves making the most of life in Charleston with her family and friends - whether it's savoring fresh seafood, soaking up the sun on the beach, spending time on the water, hitting the golf course or enjoying country concerts. Courtney is passionate about her clients and her city, and looks forward to helping you find your next home in Charleston.

She was always very responsive and a delight to work with throughout the entire process. She had great recommendations for all the local services which proved very useful during and after our closing. We still reach out to her regularly and she is always happy to help. • I had the pleasure of being represented by Courtney for my first home buying experience as a single owner and she went above and beyond! She was patient, comprehensive and knew how to politely provide direction and navigate my needs as I learned the area. She truly represented my interests as a buyer and highly recommend her. Thank you for the pleasant buying experience, Courtney.

  • I cannot recommend Courtney enough! She helped us find our dream home in Mount Pleasant. It was a long distance move for us, which could have been stressful, but she made the whole process as easy as possible. She also helped us negotiate a great price in a demanding market. The next time we buy a home, we will definitely reach out to Courtney.

  • Courtney is, without a doubt, exceptional. She was consistently available for us, even when we had seemingly trivial questions or requested house viewings late at night. She worked tirelessly, diligently, and thoroughly throughout the entire process making a stressful time seem easy to us. She negotiated effectively and advocated strongly on our behalf. We highly recommend Courtney and are happy to call her a friend now!

  • Courtney helped me buy my first home, and I couldn?t have asked for a better agent! I was brand new to the process and she made a very stressful and overwhelming process for a first time homebuyer feel smooth and manageable. She provided clear direction, shared vetted lists of vendors (from loan officers to insurance providers and inspectors), and always made sure I knew what the next step was. With an unexpectedly quick turnaround to closing, Courtney was proactive, organized, and constantly checked in to make sure everything was on track. Her knowledge of the Charleston area is unmatched, and she was instrumental in helping me feel confident about my choice! What really stood out was how supportive she was ? not just as a professional, but as someone who genuinely cared. To this day, she still checks in to see how things are going with the house. Charleston is lucky to have her, and anyone would be lucky to work with her!

What do you think sets you apart as an agent?

What sets me apart is a combination of deep local roots, strong negotiation skills and a true passion for serving others. Charleston has been my home for more than a decade, and I've built a vast network within the community that allows me to stay ahead of the curve on all things real estate. Whether it's knowing about off-market opportunities or tapping into trusted local vendors, I leverage every relationship to give my clients the best possible outcome. I'm also a firm believer that communication is everything. My clients always know where we stand, what's coming next and that I'm in their corner from start to finish. I genuinely love this city, the people in it and the work I get to do every day. That passion fuels my drive and creates an experience that's as seamless as it is personal. I'm not just here to sell houses - I'm here to be your advocate, your resource and your partner every step of the way.

What are your favorite features of homes and why?

Outdoor living, hands down. One of the things I love most about Charleston is that our beautiful weather lets us enjoy outdoor spaces almost year-round. Whether it's a cozy porch with a swing, a breezy screened-in patio, or a full backyard setup with a fireplace and lounge seating - these spaces become an extension of the home and often the heart of where memories are made. There's something so special about blending indoor comfort with the natural beauty of the Lowcountry.

Describe a favorite Saturday afternoon in Charleston.

My ideal Saturday afternoon starts with a sweat session at my business, The Barre Code. From there, I love taking a walk on Sullivan's Island with my golden retriever. If the weather's just right, which it often is, you'll probably find me hopping on a boat with friends or family for some time on the water listening to country music!
