Throughout his impressive career, including over two decades of real estate experience, LeGrand Elebash has cultivated a broad and deep knowledge of the intricacies of buying and selling property. His various roles across the industry - from project manager to master developer, homebuyer to lead broker - give him a unique perspective; one that has helped him establish a loyal clientele, an impressive network of contacts and most importantly, continued success as one of the top real estate agents in the Charleston area.
Growing up in Charleston, LeGrand was inspired by the architecture and natural beauty of the city from an early age. His father was a member of the Kiawah Island Real Estate team during the island's early development, his mother a successful interior designer and his stepfather a prominent developer - real estate and fine homes were intuitive. He lived between the island and downtown Charleston, fully immersed in what's now known as - the Lowcountry lifestyle - that makes the region so desirable.
LeGrand traveled north for school and graduated from St. Paul's School and Yale University where he was a member of the varsity crew team. He went on to serve in the U. S. Marine Corps for nine years as an F/A-18 fighter pilot, learning many valuable lessons from the Corps. Following his military service, LeGrand attended Harvard Business School graduating with an MBA in 2001.
Returning to Charleston with his wife, Allison, and their young children, LeGrand joined Rivers Enterprises Inc. a private real estate development firm with holdings in the Lowcountry and North Carolina. He was then tapped as the COO of the I'On Group as it completed the first phase of the now-renowned New Urbanist I'On development in Mount Pleasant. While at I'On, his team oversaw master-planning and construction of new communities in downtown Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Summerville and North Charleston.
Opportunity and adventure arose in 2008 when LeGrand was offered a position with Kiawah Partners to establish and oversee their Caribbean resort project on St. Kitts, West Indies. For four years, he and his family resided full-time in St. Kitts while successfully launching Christophe Harbor, a 2,500-acre luxury resort development.
The Elebashs once again returned home to Charleston and LeGrand pivoted from development to focus full time on residential real estate sales and partnerships. He has since risen to the top of his field, earning recognition for his hard work, integrity and record-breaking sales and consistently ranked among the top Realtors in the Charleston area, with over $58 million in closed sales for 2023, placing him in the top 10 out of over 7,000 licensed agents in the tri county area (top one tenth of 1% among licensed agents).
LeGrand and his wife, Allison, a well-known interior designer, have two adult children and are longtime residents of the I'On neighborhood. They are both active in several non-profit organizations, reflecting a shared commitment to positively impacting the local community.
LeGrand is a former board member of Spoleto Festival USA and the College of Charleston's Halsey Institute. Currently, he serves as a board member and immediate past Board Chair of Charleston Moves where he advocates for sustainable transportation solutions. His commitment to community welfare is further evident in his past role as a board member and active supporter of Operation Home, an organization dedicated to providing housing solutions. Additionally, Elebash and his wife actively support Hope to Home Furniture Resource.
An avid cyclist, LeGrand loves to cycle around the islands. He and Allison also enjoy Charleston's amazing food scene - especially wherever champagne is served.
