  • Many thanks to Marisa for helping facilitate the sale of our new home in Charleston! We knew we wanted a second home in Charleston, but living in D.C., we were not very familiar with the area. We bought our home sight unseen due to the competitive nature of the Charleston market and we are thrilled with our purchase! We trusted her completely and it paid off. Marisa was always available to us and handled every detail flawlessly. We are so grateful for all her hard work!"

  • My husband and I recently closed on an investment property on Kiawah Island. Marisa Cromey and Farrah Follmann were our agents and we highly recommend them! Both of them spent an entire Saturday showing us eleven available properties as we had requested. They were professional and gave much appreciated and valuable feedback on the properties we toured together. Once we narrowed down our search, they did an outstanding job assisting us with negotiations to get a contract written. They went out of the way during the inspection process to be present since we were out of town buyers. We could not have done it without both of them being fully involved from start to finish. We never worried at all during the process since both of them are detail oriented and always looked ahead to anticipate anything that could happen. Many thanks to both Marisa and Farrah!

  • I had a delightful experience using William Means for my recent real estate purchase. My agents, Marisa Cromey and Farrah Follman, were true professionals from negotiating to follow through and hand holding too. I could not recommend any team or agency more highly.

What do you think sets you apart as an agent?

My ability to be decisive and calm in high-pressure moments ensures smooth transactions for my clients. What truly distinguishes me is my empathetic approach and understanding clients' needs on a personal level. This combination of resilience under pressure and genuine empathy allows for successful deals but also cultivates lasting relationships with my clients.

What are your favorite features of homes and why?

I love homes that feature the art of outdoor living while simultaneously embracing the spirit of Charleston. Expansive porches adorned with classic haint blue ceilings that beckon residents to relax in rocking chairs are my favorite. I get excited about homes with courtyards, lush gardens and historic ironwork that create private sanctuaries with the area's iconic magnolias or palmetto trees. I love to see architecture that is uniquely Charleston, but also invites one to savor the beauty of outdoor living in every season.

What is your favorite part about Charleston?

Without a doubt, the thing I like most about Charleston is the sense of community. I would argue it is unparalleled and the friendliest place one could choose to live. It's the warm greetings from neighbors on tree-lined streets or the communal spirit evident in local gatherings. Residents bond over shared Charleston experiences and form genuine connections. The combination of a laid-back atmosphere and a tight-knit community fosters a sense of belonging; it's no wonder why our city is one of the most desirable places to call home.
