Peninsula Grill - everything they do is amazing from the decor, to the food to the service. They opened before Charleston was known as a culinary city and have stayed true to their mission of excellence. You know they are doing something right when locals still go there and their service staff are career personnel (ask for Delia!). And don't forget about the infamous Ultimate 12 layer coconut cake which is to die for!
My ability to see through the deficiencies. Every time I walk in a house, I only see opportunities to make it better. I love to turn an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan. Having a vision allows me to advise my clients for the best and most efficient use of a property. My husband jokes that every time I tour properties with clients, I always come home with one I want to buy myself!
We still feel small. Although we continue to grow by leaps and bounds, you still see childhood friends at the grocery store, in the airport or at church. We know each others maiden names, what house we grew up in and who was in our class in school. Charlestonians may leave but they always end up coming back!
