Testimonials

  • These days the second you find a house you love, you have to act fast. Within six hours of finding what we hoped to be our new home, Bonnie not only got us in the door, but had all the pertinent information ready to share. She was able to simultaneously get us ready to make an offer on one home, while guiding us in how to get our current home on the market. Not only was our offer accepted on our new home, we were able to secure a contract on our current for full asking price within five days.

  • When my company moved me to South Carolina the only place I wanted to live was on the beach. Bonnie made my dream a reality by finding me the perfect house on Sullivan's Island. Her knowledge of the market and area made my transition to a new town so much easier!

  • My husband and I have had the pleasure of working with Bonnie on several real estate transactions over the past few years and could not be more pleased. As a couple, we have bought and sold over a dozen properties in the past 30 years and have not encountered a more professional Realtor than Bonnie. Her work ethic is incredible, she is always courteous, patient and -fast as lightning - quick responding to any inquiry, email or phone call. And to top it all off, she's a lovely person with the most infectious laugh and just such a pleasure to be around. We are very grateful that we can call Bonnie Geer our Realtor, and cannot recommend her highly enough as a real estate professional.

  • My wife and I worked with Bonnie to find our retirement/forever home in Charleston. With over 800 miles between our current home and Charleston, Bonnie made "remote" house hunting surprisingly manageable. Bonnie is well connected, extremely knowledgeable and flexible in her approach. She listens, acts timely and operates in the best interest of her clients. Our searches ranged from spec homes for immediate sale to land only options and Bonnie easily managed multiple scenarios and requests. Bonnie is a consummate business professional but is also warm, friendly and genuine. She took wonderful care of my wife who traveled alone during house hunting trips. In the end, we found our forever home quickly thanks to Bonnie's efforts. We will be gladly recommending Bonnie to other friends also seeking to relocate to Charleston.

Favorite restaurant in Charleston and why?

Peninsula Grill - everything they do is amazing from the decor, to the food to the service. They opened before Charleston was known as a culinary city and have stayed true to their mission of excellence. You know they are doing something right when locals still go there and their service staff are career personnel (ask for Delia!). And don't forget about the infamous Ultimate 12 layer coconut cake which is to die for!

What do you think sets you apart as an agent?

My ability to see through the deficiencies. Every time I walk in a house, I only see opportunities to make it better. I love to turn an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan. Having a vision allows me to advise my clients for the best and most efficient use of a property. My husband jokes that every time I tour properties with clients, I always come home with one I want to buy myself!

What is your favorite part about Charleston?

We still feel small. Although we continue to grow by leaps and bounds, you still see childhood friends at the grocery store, in the airport or at church. We know each others maiden names, what house we grew up in and who was in our class in school. Charlestonians may leave but they always end up coming back!
