Drew Grossklaus


Drew Grossklaus has been William Means Real Estate's Director of Sales and East Cooper Broker-In-Charge for more than 14 years. During this time, he has led the firm to record growth and managed more than $1.5 billion in sales. Drew brings a wealth of strategic sales, marketing, creative and analytical talent to the team, drawing on more than 20 years of real estate and development sales, marketing, advertising and promotions experience.

Prior to William Means, Drew was the Director of Sales and Marketing for the I'On Group and was instrumental in closing more than $350 million in residential homesite and home sales. He also provided direction and strategy to the sales agents, support staff, investors and owners. In addition to his sales and marketing roles at the I'On Group, he was actively involved with the relations and management of the I'On Builder's Guild. Under Drew's management, I'On won numerous PRISM (Professional Results in Sales and Marketing) awards from the Charleston Trident Homebuilders Association and was nominated for Marketer of Year by the Charleston American Marketing Association.

Prior to joining the I'On Group, Drew was Director of Marketing for the Family Circle Cup and Family Circle Tennis Center on Daniel Island. Drew created, planned and implemented all aspects of marketing, public relations for both the Tier 1 Professional Tennis Tournament and the Tennis Center. He also managed client services for members, vendors and top professional women's tennis players.

Drew is a licensed real estate agent and currently serves as the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors (CTAR) Board of Directors President. He previously served as President-Elect, First Vice President and Treasurer. CTAR has served the Lowcountry region for more than 100 years, issuing statistical analysis of market conditions, offering legislative support to its members and the industry at large and serving as the premier resource for all things real estate in the tri-county and outlying areas. Drew also completed the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce Civic Leaders Academy and the South Carolina REALTORS Leadership Academy, and currently serves on the South Carolina REALTORS (SCR) Board of Directors.

Drew graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in accounting and received a Master's degree from Western Illinois University. He resides in Mount Pleasant.

My favorite part about Charleston is that you can have so many favorite parts. You can love the history and homes, you can love the beaches, you can love great food, you can love great people.

I don’t think people realize the difference in having a good real estate agent. While a lot of information can be found on the internet, having a good agent makes a huge difference. I feel William Means has many ways it sets itself apart, but these ways come together in a simple term of thoroughness. If you really want to feel good about buying or selling home, knowing that everything was reviewed and done correctly. Having that done is one of the most reassuring feelings. William Means does it in many ways, but at the end of the day they are thorough about every detail.
