Spring has arrived early in February and the warmer weather has brought a tremendous amount of real estate activity! With the presidential primaries, Charleston saw a flood of media attention. The different luxury markets of Charleston saw a bit of flux as the numbers were a reflection of sales in December and January. The area with the greatest increase was Mount Pleasant (South of IOP Connector). The trending numbers will continue to be strong in the coming months given the high numbers of contracts written in February and the early start of March. We are happy to announce that William Means had a tremendous month of February with sales throughout the Lowcountry.
Tri-County over $500,000
Downtown – Inside of Crosstown
Downtown remained fairly stable versus the previous month, but had better numbers than the same time last year.
Downtown – South of Broad
This area also saw very stable numbers versus the previous month.
I’On Village
I’On had increased activity. The actual sales numbers were down due to slow January sales, but an increase in activity should provide increased sales numbers over the coming months.
