William Means Agent Wins National Award

William Means’ own T. Dylan Jones has been named in the 2010 class of  ’30 Under 30′.  Jones and the other recipients represent rising young stars in the real estate industry and were selected from more than 700 applicants from across the United States.  The magazine’s editors made selections based on the candidates’ leadership, innovation, and career success.  The honorees for 2010 are integrating new media with old-school touches and they’re demonstrating vision and commitment as they bridge generation gaps, turn around tough situations, and help manifest their clients’ dreams.

Learn more about T. Dylan Jones in his interview with Realtor Magazine:

An Excellent Packer

T. Dylan Jones lived in 25 different houses growing up (his mom’s in real estate) and learned a lot about design and construction along the way. When he graduated with a business degree from the College of Charleston, Jones went to work for an area developer, selling more than 100 residential lots and 75 homes in four years. At William Means, he’s a top seller, earning a 2009 Realtor® of Distinction award from his local association, despite overcoming a traumatic burn injury that kept him out of the office for four months. In the next five years, Jones sees himself managing several locations.

On Land, In Air, By Sea

Jones is a licensed residential builder responsible for several homes and infrastructure improvements in Charleston, but his activities aren’t confined to land. He’s actively involved in the sailing community and has been involved a variety of sailing-related community programs, including sailing for abused children and fundraisers for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. Jones is also a student pilot and former chef.

Don’t Let Adversity Break You

Keep on learning, no matter what. “I’ve been successful because I’ve learned how to keep my head up, how to keep working hard, and how to stay positive, even when things are tough,” he says.
