Hurricane Matthew has officially left the Lowcountry after 300,000 coastal South Carolinians heeded evacuation orders issued earlier last week.
William Means Marketing Assistant, Olivia Hipp, braved the flood waters to provide us with a few snapshots of some of the aftermath in the downtown area. Thankfully the flooding has since subsided and we are back to work at 41 Broad Street today. In a historical turn of events, Civil War cannon balls even surfaced on Folly Beach on Sunday morning following the storm.
Our continued thoughts and prayers go out to our neighbors and those affected by the hurricane as they begin to rebuild.
