Join in the Lowcountry Independence Day Festivities! What better way to spend time with family and friends than enjoying spectacular fireworks shows, a delicious barbecue and some fun in the surf and sand. Need an idea of how to celebrate the holiday weekend? Check out these great events below.

Independence Festival on Kiawah

Let the fun begin! Enjoy beach music from the Headliners and various attractions for family and friends to enjoy. Festivities include: live music, tie-dye, face painting, children’s train, carnival games, and much more!

9th Annual Sizzling Southern Celebration

Join Circa 1886 for an Independence Day celebration from 6-7 p.m. with music, lawn games, hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

Fireworks on Folly Beach

Folly Beach will honor Independence Day with a grand fireworks display. You don’t want to miss this!

July 4th Cross Country 5K

In the mood for a little exercise? Come participate in a 5K run around Trophy Lake on the 4th of July.

Red, White and Blue Party

The American flag will be flying high at Southern Season’s annual Red, White & Blue Party! Before staking out your spot for the fireworks display, stop by their store from 12:30 to 3 p.m. for a family-friendly celebration.

Independence Day at Middleton Place

Spend your 4th of July holiday at the home of a Signer of the Declaration of Independence. Readings of the Declaration will take place every 30 minutes and several interactive demonstrations happen throughout the day.
