New Downtown Bed-and-Breakfast Ordinance Could Prompt Neighborhood Renovation

Crosstown Renovation Set to begin in April

The long awaited beautification project for the Septima Clark Parkway (known as the Crosstown) is set to begin in April of this year and run through October 2012. A major part of the renovation will be improvements on crosswalks, sidewalks, and the addition of a landscaped median. Much to the delight of residents of Wagener Terrace and Hampton Park Terrace, two beautiful neighborhoods north of the Crosstown, the changes should make foot and bike travel across the highway safer and more accessible.
